Hi,
My apologies as I do not speak German. I will soon have delivery of my TwinCharger and I am keen to use the NobraControl.
The Software control language is German and I was hoping that another user might translate the interface into English for me, and also explain what the controls do?
When I have the translation I will try to produce an english version of the software if possible. |

Yes, it would be great to have an international version of the nobracontrol software!
Here comes a translation of the instructions for the basic functions of the NobraControl hardware:
Instructions NobraControl
Switch on the NobraControl at 'I'. There is a delay of about 5 seconds, until the control-led will turn from red light to green and the vibration starts. You may optionally use the wall-socket ac-dc converter, in that case the control will automatically use its current from the converter, instead of the batteries.
The bigger turning-knob regulates the overall-intensity, regardless of any other manual- or software-commands.
The touch-keys allow a rhythmic control of the vibration. Functions from left to right while looking at the led:
Key 1 lenghtens the rhythm
Key 2 shortens the rhythm
Key 3 minimizes the rhythm amplitude
Key 4 maximizes the rhythm amplitude
(since the rhythm amplitude is set to zero at start, click here first to get a rhythmic effect)
Keys 1 + 2 pushed together switch waveforms from square to saw tooth left, to saw tooth right, to sinus
Keys 1 + 3 together save the actual configuration for the next start
Keys 3 + 4 together call and switch in between three different, more complex stimulation-sequences, which you could program freely at your pc
Keys 1 + 4 together switch from bluetooth-visible mode to bluetooth-unvisible at next start. Led will turn into red in bluetooth-unvisible mode.
The connection of the computer to the nobracontrol is realized by bluetooth. Find the nobracontrol with the bluetooth-manager of your pc. Pin 1-2-3-4.

I've been using google translate for some of the pages on the website, but your English translation is much clearer. Thank you.
As for the control software, I've tried google again, but the translation is very literal and although I get the gist, it would be great to have a proper English version.
I have downloaded the Mac version and I am able to edit the file that controls the interface and therefore can change the names of buttons etc. Hopefully without breaking anything!
Maybe someone else will come along and add to this?
Can't wait to get my new toy and start experimenting.

My current problem is, the maintaining of the bluetooth connection once the 'start' button is clicked in the nobracontrol 3.0 window ...
as soon as that is done, my mac bluetooth-preferences window 'kicks off' the connection. i must be doing something wrong . . . ? I also use a mac [and wine, to open the program].
I can say that my [new] twin charger is plugged in and power is on while this happens, and before clicking 'start', i also have the bluetooth active for the nobracontrol software. the connection maybe lasts about 10 or so seconds...
perhaps it is possible to program and save files without connecting the device, but its better to be able to experiment with a connection so i know what waveform will end up 'looking' [and feeling] like.
I will experiment some more, see if i can improve this - if so i will share my feedback |
